Skipwith Academy’s curriculum is focused on individualized learning objectives for each child that we serve. We provide a variety of options for learning, not only based on the age of the child, but also his or her prior learning, maturity, and academic stage.

Our provides a clear pathway to school readiness. It incorporates developmentally appropriate methods that meet the learning needs of each child in our well-equipped classrooms and playgrounds. Primary care is the core of our infant and toddler program. Language development and literacy skills form the basis of our preschool programs. Readers and writers are developed in our Preschool Readiness Enrichment Program (PREP), and Junior Kindergarten.
